Whatever someone (you?) said at some point recently really made the point for me...when someone is listening to you, really listening, it validates you as a person, so why wouldn't you do the same for someone else! We all crave the feeling that who we are matters and having someone listen to you is probably one of the most accessible/doable ways to let someone know that they do matter! That being sad...I'm still workin' on it. I sit at your feet and learn!
